PROSPER GOLF CLUB (PGC) is a self-governing, voluntary association of members established in 2000 under Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code. Initially operated by Prosper Trading a.s., the golf course transitioned to Golferia s.r.o. on May 1, 2016, and since April 1, 2023, it has been managed by Prosper Golf Resort a.s.
About PGC
PGC is a non-profit sports club focused on promoting golf and supporting the region. The club provides members with access to top-class facilities, including:
- Clubroom, locker room, and bag room
- A 36-hole course (The Old Course and The New Course) with practice areas like driving range, putting and chipping greens, Full Swing simulators, and indoor golf (temporarily)
- An illuminated driving range for use after dark, and even in winter with outdoor heaters
Courses
PGC members primarily play on The Old Course, but membership grants full access to both The Old Course and The New Course. Both courses, located in the scenic Beskyds, are 18-hole championship courses co-created by Spanish golf professional Miguel Ángel Jiménez. These courses feature:
- Long fairways lined with forest vegetation
- Water and sand hazards, with Scottish-style bunkers on The New Course
- Expansive, undulating greens
- The European Course (also known as The Middle Course), available for prestigious tournaments
Lifetime Membership Benefits
- Unlimited play on The Old, New, and (with prior arrangement) The Middle Course
- Unlimited play on five additional courses (Kaskáda, Kunětická Hora, Olomouc, Ostravice, Skalice)
- Unlimited driving range balls and use of practice areas
- Hand trolley rental for each game
- Buggy rental at 50% discount or 8,000 CZK for the season
- Discounts on member/birthday tournaments, Full Swing simulators, PRO SHOP items, and lessons
- Access to member-only clubroom, locker room, and bag room
- Reciprocity with other domestic and international clubs
Membership Fees
- Entrance fee: 500,000 CZK
- Annual membership fee: 40,000 CZK
- Youth membership (up to 18 years old) is entrance fee-free, with conditions after turning 18.
